The New Year is FLYING...

Man, the new year is flying by already.
Kory and I went on our first date since Emma was born Friday night. We had alot of fun. We went to dinner and thought about going to a movie but the only one I wanted to see was a 3 hour one and didn't have that much time. So, we went to Monroe and shopped. Well, looked for new end tables and stuff to fix up our new living room. It was nice to not have to worry where or what the kids are doing. and being able to talk without the kids. BUT it was nice to come home and play with the girls refreshed! We must learn to do it more often.

Saturday Alyssa had her first Upward basketball game. They lost but it was a good game. They did really well.

Sunday, well, we went to church came home took naps, Alyssa had to be back at 4:30 for Bible Drill and then we all went back for the evening service. Dr. Rick is doing a great job.

Happy New Year!!

We didn't do anything special for New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day we went shopping. Kory was off today, but had to take me to doctor for a pinched nerve in my neck. Oh,what fun. We spent the day getting x-rays and sitting at the doctor's office. Here is some really cute pictures of Emma and Sara. We moved Emma up to the baby bed upstairs. She has been sleeping in the travel bed down stairs. Sara was SO excited for them to share a room. They have been in bed for over 2 hours now and Emma has only cried once. I on the other hand have been up there 4 times so far. Plus I have the monitor on.

Christmas Baking...

We have baked cookies and cake balls all day. I think I have enough to feed my family plus the neighborhood. We have had alot of fun.

Tomorrow I plan to bake some pies. We should have plenty of "sweet" things to eat.

I remember as a child going to my Nonnie's house and there was a ton of baked things to eat, Peanut brittle, cookies, cakes, and pies. There was always too many choices to make, so you had to eat at least one of everything. Maybe that's why 3 out of the 5 of us are diabetic. Who knows. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Are you ready?

Well, no I'm not. I had my house all cleaned and planed on baking and wrapping presents today. BUT, yesterday I worked at the church and Kory had Emma and Sara home all day. Well, there went my house. So, today I'll start again. I'll clean up again, then maybe start some baking and wrapping. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Love to all!

Christmas with the Foster's

We went to Kory's parents for the weekend to have christmas with them. The girls had SO much fun! Sara and Hailey played great together in their "princess" outfits. They are at a great age for christmas this year. I can't wait for Sara (and the other girls) to wake up christmas morning and open presents.... it should be SO much fun.
